What strikes me is that the subject entirely compliments the background while providing its own surprising narrative. That's fun.

Once again a beautiful piece of painting!

I think this is one of your most striking paintings. From the composition, to the content, to the wrapping shadows, I am very attached to this image.

Incredible work as always. Do you uses brushes and/or an airbrush for work?

Thanks everyone. David, I use maybe 85% brush and 15% airbrush.

Brilliant, beautiful, striking, but where's the beef!!! Chops, chops, chops. You've got them. You can make a successful painting, but can you make culture? A lot of people can do what you're doing. In this world, it's all rather ordinary. But, take what you're doing and make culture.... that's the challenge and that's where it will count. Who are you? What did you eat for breakfast? Where do you live? Stop impressing yourself and take a leap of faith. I will bet you can make something of significance. The question is - why not be extraordinary? Signed anonymous, but you know.
